I took my family to the Sydney Tower Buffett for a birthday, wonderful experience, fresh and plentiful food, we had a table by the window and of course the view was spectacular. Staff are wonderful, and so easy to book with experience oz, I made the booking with the restaurant after purchasing the voucher through the Experience Oz website. We were taken straight to our table and had a wonderful lunch.

The revolving room is set up in two tiers of seating with a lower setting reserved for smaller groups from two to four and the upper section made up of booths to cater for larger groups.

The restaurant has a range of dishes on offer for you to indulge in. Covering a range of cuisines including modern Australian, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Thai, guests are sure to find something to suit their tastes.

Sydney Tower Buffet Review

As the room moves around you’ll have to ensure your memory is good as to which food stations you’ve already visited. On Experience Oz’s visit to the Sydney Tower Buffet, the dishes available included roast and cured meats, fresh salads, stir-fries and pastries to name a few.

With a great selection of drinks also on offer, you can choose from their list of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks (depending on the package you purchase).

Fill up your plate and enjoy

The service in the restaurant was attentive and friendly, assisting with any questions guests had and clearing plates at a comfortable and reasonable time.

Sydney Tower Buffet Review

With various sittings throughout the night, we amongst the rest of the guests were seated in the 6:30pm slot and were limited to an hour and a half to complete dinner.

Walking around the food on display it was clear that there was one station that was always a hit; the dessert station.

Sydney Tower Buffet Review

Serving a number of ice cream flavours with some delicious and colourful desserts, the after dinner treat seemed to be one of the main reasons people were hanging around.

Admire the views

As the restaurant revolves you be treated to some incredible views of the surrounding Sydney region. During the day you'll be able to see everything bright and clear.

However, if you're visiting for dinner you'll get to see the region come alive as the lights turn on and twinkle in the dark.

Our Recommendations

The novelty of the revolving restaurant didn’t wear thin throughout the evening, as it is such a slow turn you hardly even notice. The only giveaway is the food that is now further away from you and the sights that you can enjoy out of the window.

Our visit coincided with the spectacular Vivid Festival (an annual festival of lights held in May around the city), which meant we were treated to a dazzling display of lights from the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge (at times) and the surrounding region.
