It was amazing and thrilling experience. It worth trying
Last month, I had the chance to go shark diving, and it turned out to be one of the most thrilling experiences of my life. At first, I was extremely nervous. Just the thought of being so close to real sharks gave me chills. But once I met the professional instructors and listened to their detailed safety briefing, my fear slowly turned into excitement. They were calm, confident, and made sure everyone felt comfortable before we got into the water.

Recently I went with a friend to do the Xtreme Shark Dive, it was an easy course with no experience and instructions were quick to get through! Before we knew it, we were geared up and in the training pool learning basic diving skills and hand signals before seeming us ready to take the leap into tank only 3 meters deep of course. When you're underwater you move as if you walking on the moon though it is advised not to go jumping cause if fall it hilarious and they will video and everyone in the public will also see you. Our instructors Sam and Porscha were outgoing, easy and so funny, they made the whole task easy and fun so I had no nerves getting into the tank. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone to do this fantastic experience. You get up close and personal to some great predators of the underwater world. And the photos they take underwater are worth every penny! Best experience so far, hot shower included...
What you can expect
Have you ever wanted to see sharks up close? You can now have a close encounter with endangered Grey Nurse Sharks on a shark dive at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium and no experience is necessary! In a safe environment, you will receive scuba training before your dive into the 1.5 million litre oceanarium. After the pool session, your guide will give you a 30 minute tour of the shark tunnels to see these fascinating creatures in their environment. The Grey Nurse Sharks range from 1-3 metres and are free to swim around you in the oceanarium. There are no cages to separate you- you will be in their domain under the watchful guidance of your scuba dive guide. You will encounter 4 species of sharks, including a colony of Grey Nurse Sharks as well as a number of giant stingrays, fish and more.

- DO NOT drink alcohol the night before your dive
- DO NOT fly in an aircraft within 12 hours of your dive
- You MUST have a reasonable degree of swimming ability
- If you are pregnant, or planning to become pregnant, please do not book

- 90 minute scuba dive training session

- Shark dives operate on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- 3 sessions running per day at 8am, 11am and 2pm
- Participants must arrive at the entry to the attraction 15 minutes before their session

- Participants must arrive at the entry to the attraction 15 minutes before their session
- All divers must read and complete our medical declaration questionnaire before booking their Shark Dive
- Late arrival or non-attendance will result in non-admittance to the dive session. Missing your scheduled time is non-refundable
- If you have a pre-existing condition but still want to dive, you must get medical clearance before your experience from a Qualified Dive Doctor

Definitely one of the best experiences I've had
Definitely one of the best experiences I've had! Biggest thanks to my instructors Sam & Portia for making the dive super easy when my friend & I are inexperienced scuba divers. The sharks were lingering me and so majestic. The gigantic sting ray came right on top of me. Something you might never experience in the open water! Definitely will do this again but only with Sam & Portia!
