These purpose‑built championship race cars place you just inches from the ground in an open cockpit, secured with a six‑point racing harness and surrounded by professional racing equipment designed for precision and speed.
Your experience begins with two orientation laps in a road car before stepping into the Formula Ford for five thrilling drive laps around the Corporate Hill section of the South Circuit. Feel every corner, bump and acceleration as you put your driving skills to the test. To finish, buckle in for hot laps with a professional driver as they push the car to its limits, demonstrating the incredible performance and cornering ability of a true race machine. Delivering forces of up to 2.5Gs, this high‑speed adventure offers an authentic taste of motorsport action and an adrenaline rush you won't soon forget.

What you need to know
- Five laps in a Formula Ford race car
- Two hot laps in a F1-style, 2-seater Formula Ford race car
- Includes driver instruction by real race car drivers
- Coffee, tea and water supplied
- All race and safety equipment provided: helmets, race suits and boots
- Two heart pumping experiences in one day
- You will get to feel the speed of both a 2-seater and single seater racing car
- 20 Blistering laps of Sydney Motorsport Park's
- No rev-limiters so you can drive the car to your limits
- All race & safety equipment provided : helmets, race suits & boots
- Please allow approximately 2-3 hours for the experience
- Sessions run from 7:30am - 4:30pm, with 2 dates scheduled per month (dependent on availability)
- Booking time will be confirmed by the experience provider
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the session start time
- This experience takes place at Eastern Creek, Sydney NSW. This is approximately 30 minutes drive from Sydney CBD.
- This experience takes place at Sydney Motorsport Park, Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek, NSW. Travelling east or west on the M4, take the Reservoir Road exit.
- Follow the Sydney Motorsport Park signs on the Great Western Highway and turn left into Brabham Drive.
- Once you reach the roundabout at the end of Brabham Drive (near the Alpha Hotel) turn right and follow Ferrers Road around to the gate A entry (formerly gate 7).
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the session start time.
- Bring your driving license (sorry, no license, no driving).
- If you have your own race suit, helmet and gloves, bring them
- Bring a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! - Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction

- Availability was accurate at the time of booking however, is subject to change due to circumstances out of our control
- We strongly suggest reconfirming your booking with the tour operator within 24 hours of making your booking and prior to making other travel arrangements
- Participants must have "P" standard manual driving license and be able to operate a manual gearbox
- Participants will be required to sign an indemnity accepting liability for any damage to the car
- Minimum age is 16 years. Participants under the age of 18 years will require a parent/guardian to sign such forms on their behalf
- Maximum weight is 120kg
- The minimum height on this experience is 155 cm, and the maximum is 188 cm
- Not suitable for pregnant women or those who suffer from certain medical conditions
- Change your booking up to 14 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 14 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- No refunds will be offered on any booked experiences
