Collect your hamper from Centennial Homestead at your chosen time, then wander into more than 180 hectares of open lawns, tree lined avenues and ornamental ponds to find your own tranquil spot.
Inside the box you will find a generous spread of sweet and savoury treats, from cured meats, creamy burrata and dips to crackers, olives, fresh fruit and vanilla cupcakes, all matched with a bottle of non alcoholic wine and a soft drink each. Lay out your blanket, pour a glass and settle in for a slow afternoon among the birdlife and gardens. It is an easy, relaxed way to mark a special occasion or simply while away a lazy day outdoors, with the freedom to linger as long as you like. If the weather turns, a covered al fresco area at the homestead has you sorted.
