Great day for all ages. Lovely large open spaces, animals well looked after. Kids loved walking through the kangaroo enclosure and seeing the koalas so close. Haven't been for many years and I enjoyed it as well. Very impressed there was free water bottle filling stations around the zoo so we could all keep hydrated. Visit the animal hospital before we left was very interesting.
A fun day out in the fresh air for all at Australia Zoo.

We loved it so many animals and a water park and fun for children.

Loved the crocodile show and awesome is how we can fill up our water bottles. So clever. Going on Australia day was even better. It was good seeing the Irwins in the show. Very friendly.

A good day out.

The day was very hot which obviously was a factor so there were very limited animals to see, the shows such as the tiger show needed you to be there early before start time or it seated out due to social distancing (which is fine and glad they’re adhering to requirements but would have been nice to know prior). The Irwin show was fantastic! Also, recommend bringing your own food as the food is extremely overpriced. Overall, a little disappointing but I’d love to go back on a cooler day and see if that makes a difference! The wildlife conservation and passion in the place is heartwarming!

We went to Australia Zoo as a family with two other families for a day out in the school holidays.

Overall the experience was fantastic loved the love shows. Australia Zoo feels like a real family affair and I would highly recommend this to anyone I also enjoyed the walks the scenery was lovely and the kids enjoyed the attractions and feeding the kangaroos.

Australia Zoo is a great day out to spend with family, friends or even by yourself.

My daughter and I visited the Australia Zoo on a rainy, muggy day and thought we'd have the zoo to ourselves. However, it was packed with likeminded people and ended up being impossible to see some enclosures like the tigers as it was so overcrowded. There is a large new play water feature for kids and personally, we felt this distracted from the purpose of visiting a zoo though I can imagine parents love it. The Crocoseum was a hit as usual and the restaurant is very well organised to cater for large hungry crowds. The barnyard is now closed and we noticed some enclosures were off-limits to the public. We had a pass to visit the Wildlife hospital but were told just to wander around. This was disappointing as we thought we'd get a tour through it and ended up only seeing an empty theatre. However, this visit did remind me why it's best to go out of school holidays.

A beautiful experience etched in the memory lane!

It was a beautiful and rejuvenating experience visiting the Australia Zoo. Such a well well-maintained property and it feels so good looking at all the animals and the great care that is provided by the zoo staff. The food court is pretty good with lots of options and throughout the zoo, you will find refreshments to cool you off on a hot day! We thoroughly enjoyed the croc show, lucky it was hosted by Robert & Bindi. The tiger show is pretty decent as well. Thank you Experience Oz to have this listed on your website, the experience of purchasing it was really good as well. Cheers, all.

Excellent experience! I would highly recommend visiting Australia Zoo.

Not only Australian animals can you see in a zoo but also some exotic ones, such as zebras, giraffe and even rhinoceroses. A big territory of a zoo so you can use a train to move from one location to another. There are places to eat and you can find drinking water throughout the zoo. Communication with koalas was very nice - you can touch them and see them very close. We enjoyed visiting the zoo and our child too.

I am from Brisbane and visited Australia Zoo in January 2021, it was great!

Incredible! I went for the first time in January 2019 but this second time around was even more amazing. There were fewer crowds (I guess due to... well, we all know the reasons) and I found it so relaxing and calming. I fed a kangaroo that actually approached me and as he took food from my hand, he slowly lifted his and placed a paw on my wrist. Took my breath away and I've got it on video! Thank you for the experience.

A day well sent. Kids really enjoy their day and asked to come back again!

A good collection of animals, missing the elephant. A well day spent and kids were really having fun. Suitable for the whole family plus free refill water station everywhere. Just bring your water bottle. If you come early you should be able to cover the whole area in one day.

Great day at the zoo, plenty of things to see. Croc & bird show informative & entertaining.
Debbie Ford 2 months ago

Had a great day at the zoo, lots to see & do. Great to see a waterpark for smaller children to be able to cool off in the heat. Used the overflow car park and was transported by coach to the front entrance, didn't need to wait around at either end. Also great to catch the little train back to the entrance after walking down to Africa exhibit. Only disappointment no Irwin's insight for probably the busiest time of year.
