Once on land at Oneke (The Neck), you'll join a guided walk through native forest, across beaches, and along rugged headlands.
This small group walk offers exclusive access to Oneke, making it an ideal experience for travellers looking to slow down and connect with nature. During your walk, you'll have the chance to spot abundant native wildlife, from vibrant birdlife to marine creatures in this pristine and secluded area. - This experience is approximately 3.5 hours in duration.
- This tour departs from the Oban Visitor Centre at the “Red Shed” (next to the ferry terminal) 12 Elgin Terrace, Oban, Southland 9818.

- This experience requires a reasonable level of agility and mobility to complete
- The walking track can be uneven and muddy at times, therefore please ensure you wear adequate footwear and are dressed for warmth including a wind and waterproof jacket
- In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled
