What you can expect

Take to the skies for one of the most breathtaking flights New Zealand has to offer, exploring Mt Aspiring and the world-famous Milford Sound from above. This exclusive route showcases some of the country’s largest and most remote glaciers, including the Rob Roy, Bonar, Jura, Volta, Dart, Olivine, and Donne. Each tour guarantees views of at least five major glaciers, usually reserved for seasoned mountaineers or the lucky few who travel by air from Wanaka. After check-in, your pilot will give a detailed pre-flight briefing before you lift off from Queenstown Airport and head north.

Marvel at the towering 10,000ft peak and its crown jewel, the vast Volta Glacier, before gliding west along ‘Glacier Alley’ and the Olivine Ice Plateau. Continue toward Milford Sound, flying past Mt Tutoko, the Donne, and Age Glaciers, before descending over the spectacular fiord. Your return flight reveals sweeping views of the Arthur Valley and Lake Te Anau, making this an unforgettable South Island adventure from start to finish.
