Rise early for a morning amongst the clouds and memories to last a lifetime.

Launching from Northam, revellers can participate in the inflation of the balloon before taking to the skies for a relaxing flight floating over the Avon Valley at sunrise. Soak in the spectacular scenery as you soar over rolling green hills, gentle streams and historic country towns. A hot air balloon flight offers panoramic views of the Western Australian landscape illuminated by the vibrant hues of the morning sun. Following the hot air balloon flight, a delicious breakfast is served in Northam.

Time
  • Please allow approximately three hours for this experience, from the meeting time until your return
  • The actual flight time is approximately one hour in duration
  • The meeting time varies depending on the time of year
  • Flight times may vary due to weather and the time of year the flight is taken. Please await confirmation from the supplier prior to your flight as to what the actual flight time will be
  • Flights operate from mid May until late September
Departure Location
  • The meeting location is located at 112 Fitzgerald St E, Northam 6401 at the Dome Cafe. Northam is just under 100km from Perth and driving there will take around one hour and 20 minutes. If you use public transport you will need to travel the day before your flight. There is a bus and a train service from Perth to Northam running from East Perth Station.
What To Bring
  • Please wear casual comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather conditions. Shoes must be flat, no high heels or open toed shoes are permitted. Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are a must.
Terms And Conditions
  • Children are aged between 6 and 12. Younger children cannot participate in this experience
  • Participant weight range goes up to 130 kg. exceeding this limit will require contacting the operator for further advice
  • Pregnant women over 20 weeks gestation are not allowed to fly
  • The supplier will confirm the time of the flight the night before
Cancellation Policy
  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
Booking Information
  • Equipment cannot cater to people who use a wheelchair.
  • The supplier will confirm the time of the flight the night before.
  • Participant changes are allowed with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. We will need the name and body weights of all participants.
  • Spectators are welcome to come and watch take off as long as they can travel independently to launch and landing sites.
  • In the case of strong winds or heavy rain your flight may be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date.
