What you can expect

Capture the spirit of the Queensland Outback with a visit to the Isa Experience Heritage Display. Do not miss out on visiting this intriguing and entertaining centre that narrates the history of mining with life in the Australian Outback. Mt Isa is also a culturally diverse region and through interactive displays, you can garner a sense of early Australia and the perspectives of Indigenous and Anglo Saxon residents. Wander through the larger than life exhibits including the Outback Park with picnic areas and lush lawns, the Rodeo Hall of Fame, Mining Exhibits with real-life machinery and the Outback Gems featuring a private collection of crystals and rock formations donated to the centre. The Isa Experience Heritage Display is open to the public, 7 days a week from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
