What more can you say..PHILLIP ISLAND.. we had never been there and bought the 4 park pass before we left. The best thing to do is buy this pass, makes visiting every place alot easier.. LOVED the penguins.. always wanted to see them coming onto the beach at sunset, was raining, but we still saw them :) The Koala park was small but that was good as we were a little tired by the time we got there, and you could see them fairly close from the boardwalks around their trees. The Old farm we visited was nice, relaxing.. we went late in the day and just wandered around. And Nobbys Head has the best views and a great boardwalk. They say you can see seals from there, we didn't unfortunately, but it was very windy and cold and we ate in the cafe, which was pretty good and went into the Antarctic Exhibition which was GREAT! I recommend buying the 4 park pass to make your visit to Phillip Island easier.. W e would buy it and go there again :)

We took the 4 park pass including the eco boat tour. If u would like to have a packed one day trip lile us, I suggest driving on your own car and plan your destination ahead. The eco boat was awesome with the playful seal, remember not to eat much before the boat. Penguin is awesome too.

We loved the penguins and the koalas. We felt the bobbies Antarctica experience was a bit overdone with technology and underdone with activities and guides. Our kids (12 and 10) loved the island and we will definitely be back some day.

Me and my wife had a day and a half to spend at Melbourne. We had planned to go to Phillip Island and thought the best way would be to hire a car for our stay at Melbourne. We started with nobbies centre, which was a great experience to witness Antarctic life real size. We next went to Churchill Island where farm activity demonstrations take place from 2 onwards. Koalas did manage to move a bit for us as the Koala conservatory. Seeing the penguins up close at Penguin plus was also interesting (got the ticket upgraded)

"At Phillip Island you can see the world’s smallest (and cutest) penguins in the wild, take a virtual journey to Antarctica at the Nobbies, see koalas from treetop boardwalks and take a step back in time at a heritage farm!"

Top tips

"Get to the Penguin Parade viewing area a little earlier to secure your spot closer to where the penguins come up to the sand dunes around sunset."
