Dive into the wonders of the National Aquarium of New Zealand, a must-visit attraction along Napier’s stunning waterfront. Inside, you'll be greeted by a 1.5-million-litre oceanarium, with a walk-through tunnel where giant kingfish and stingrays glide overhead. Daily feedings bring the action to life, and talks throughout the day tell incredible stories of marine life. The aquarium is also home to the kiwi, giving you the rare chance to see this national icon up close through its involvement in the kiwi breeding programme.
The aquarium plays a vital role in rescue and rehabilitation, helping you understand why supporting this work is so important. With engaging storytelling, hands-on experiences, and plenty of opportunities to connect with wildlife, your all-day admission grants you an adventure unlike any other.

- All-day general admission to the National Aquarium of New Zealand
- Little penguin keeper talks at 9.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm
- Pania talk and stingray feeding at 10am and 2pm
- Open daily from 9am - 5pm
- Last entry at 4.30pm
- Participants are granted all-day admission and may stay until closing.

- Not available on Christmas Day
