Greymouth is the largest west coast city on the South Island. It is home to some of New Zealand's most raw natural attractions as well as extreme sporting activities. The city's rich history stems from gold mining, and jade hunting, which is evident today in the local History House Museum.

Greymouth attracts many holidaymakers for its rafting, caving, and fly fishing. There are also several walking routes, including the 2-hour Point Elizabeth Walk, that traverses through inactive gold mining sites.

Just south of Greymouth lies Shantytown, a re-created Pioneer town where visitors can walk amongst heritage buildings that once thrived during the Gold Rush.

Book a trip to Greymouth and experience a unique part of New Zealand.
