Step into the ancient rainforest of Springbrook National Park on an evening glow worm tour from the Gold Coast, as the hinterland comes alive after dark. With return coach transfers, a guided night walk and educational commentary included, you’ll follow gentle, well-formed pathways to the magical Natural Bridge. Here, a waterfall tumbles through the cave while glow worms light up the darkness like a tiny galaxy, using their glowing tails to attract prey.
Along the way, listen for the shuffle and stir of nocturnal native animals in the undergrowth. Once you leave the cave behind, gaze up at the Southern Cross and the Milky Way on a stargazing stop (weather permitting) before heading back to your hotel. With torches, rain ponchos and a souvenir certificate provided, it’s an unforgettable way to discover the wild side beyond the Gold Coast’s golden beaches.
National Bridge Glow worms Picked up in Surfers Paradise
National Bridge Glow Worm Night Tour Was a great experience for all ages we were picked up from Novotel in Surfers Paradise which was just over an hour's drive. We didn’t get to see the waterfalls as you weren’t allowed to shine the lights because of the glowworms. My 13 year old 9 year old and 4 year old loved the experience of looking for glowworms. We were given these little banana lights. Booking tickets through Experience Oz was very easy.
