What you can expect
Start your day with a sunrise hot air balloon flight over the Gold Coast and Hinterland. As the sun rises, drift gently across golden beaches, the city skyline, and rolling green landscapes, soaking in the views from up high while enjoying a celebratory glass of bubbles. With easy access via Australia’s only walk-in basket and smooth transfers to and from the launch site, it is a relaxed and welcoming experience.
Once you are back on the ground, watch the crew pack away the balloon using a specialised crane before heading off to Sirromet Winery for a laid-back breakfast. Settle in and enjoy tasty food paired with a barista-made coffee or fresh juice, and take home the memories with a premium digital photo package and commemorative flight certificate. - Departing at approximately 3am in the summer and 4am in the winter.
- Hot air balloon flight is 45 minutes to an hour in duration, depending on weather conditions on the day.
- This experience departs from one of three locations: Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Main Beach, QLD 4217, Nerang, QLD 4211, or Canungra, QLD 4275, as confirmed in your booking details.
- Minimum age of three years
- An adult must accompany participants under the age of 18
- Participants must be 18 years and over to consume alcohol; photo ID may be required
- Participants with significant knee, hip or back problems must consult with the pilot prior to the flight
- Please reconfirm your booking with the experience provider within 24 hours and before making other travel arrangements
- Availability is accurate at the time of booking but remains subject to change due to circumstances beyond the experience provider’s control
- Participants are responsible for ensuring they receive their flight booking confirmation details
- Participants must make their own way to the winery for breakfast

Best Honeymoon Balloon Ride
My husband booked this experience for our honeymoon. It was such an amazing time! Our ballon driver/attendant was Yohan and he was extremely friendly and shared great information about the balloons. Even though you have to get up super early in the morning it is well worth it! To be up in the balloon during sunrise is breathtaking! Highly recommend booking Go Ballooning for your next adventure whether with friends, family or loved ones!!

An absolutely unforgettable sunrise hot air balloon experience with Go Ballooning! The whole team was professional, friendly and well-organised from pickup through to landing. Our pilot was incredibly skilled, the flight was smooth and peaceful, and the sunrise views over the Queensland countryside were breathtaking.
