Wave Lagoon

A popular attraction for locals and tourists alike, the lagoon on Harbourside is a great location for visitors looking to relax by the water. There are two swimming lagoons in the area; the Wave Lagoon and the Recreation Lagoon, for visitors to enjoy. The Wave Lagoon produces replica waves to give swimmers the feel of being in the ocean without the added dangers of swells and rips. Entry into the wave lagoon is for a small fee however you receive unlimited use of the lagoon from 10am to 6pm on the day of purchase. The Recreation Lagoon is filled with sea water and is sectioned from the open water with mesh screens and stinger nets to provide swimmers with a safer ocean experience. Entry into the Recreation Lagoon is free.
