Lift off on a breathtaking alpine adventure with a 30-minute helicopter flight from Makarora. Your adventure begins with a safety briefing before you lift off and fly to the Top Forks and Siberia Valleys, where untouched wilderness awaits. Marvel at turquoise lakes, river valleys, and cascading waterfalls as you make your way towards towering peaks. You also fly past Mt. Pollux, with incredible close-up views of its ancient glacier.
Your pilot will then perform an alpine landing on your return journey, for you to step out into the crisp mountain air. Surrounded by pristine landscapes and able to capture amazing photos, this moment is the perfect finale to an unforgettable flight through the Southern Alps. - Weather-appropriate clothing

- Sunglasses and a hat
- This activity is not suited for people with limited mobility or physical disabilities
- Minimum of two passengers for the helicopter flight; If not met, another activity will be offered
- Children under three years old and under 18kg may travel free of charge; must sit on parent's lap
- If you have any concerns, medical conditions, or injuries, please inform the office staff before your journey
- In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled
- Change your booking up to 30 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 30 days of your experience
