Experience the magic of Lake Macquarie on this three-hour night kayaking adventure for two, weaving together glowing kayaks, a gourmet seafood dinner and live acoustic music into one remarkable evening. Departing from Naru Beach as twilight falls, you and your partner climb into an illuminated clear double kayak and glide across the still water with an expert guide beside you. As you paddle, your guide shares stories of the marine life lighting up below and the constellations emerging overhead.
Your destination is a sand island prepared for the occasion, complete with a gourmet seafood picnic on picnic mats and a live acoustic performance setting the scene. After dinner, you and your partner paddle gently back across the lake, keeping an eye out for marine life in the glowing water below. This is a rare and intimate experience well worth planning ahead for.

- Maximum weight limit is 140kg
- In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled

Seafood sunset paddle.
This was a great experience from start to finish. We had a fabulous island seafood picnic to start the evening off and a musician played to us while sitting under the stars. We were lucky to see luminescence on the water the night we went and the clear kayaks have great visibility to be able to observe the abundance of sea life in the water. They are very stable and not difficult to manoeuvre at all. Both our guides Ally and Ell were awesome, very knowledgeable about the local area and its history. I would highly recommend booking one of their tours. We will be doing another one, what a great business in a beautiful location.
What a unique experience!
Our awesome guide Elle and her sidekick Ali were so knowledgeable about the Lake and its surrounds and of course, the marine life. The seafood dinner was amazing and the setup really something special. I won’t spoil the experience for anyone by listing what we were able to see from our kayaks, but I do highly recommend this little adventure.
