The Entrance Ocean Baths

What you can expect

Looking for a way to cool off on a hot day in The Entrance? Checking out the Ocean Baths located on the main parade is a must. Best of all, they're free! Located on Ocean Parade, the baths were constructed between 1938 and 1965 and feature two pools - a 50 metre pool perfect for laps as well as a children's pool. Along with this, there are necessary facilities all located right near the baths also. With two fresh water showers located to the side of the pool, and bathrooms and change rooms located at the nearby surf life saving club, everything you could require is provided. Fed from the neighbouring ocean, the baths are great for those with a fear of the actual ocean. Offering a great place to relax and enjoy the coastal views, the pools are a must visit for anyone travelling to The Entrance. Great during the summer, however quite cool during the winter as the waters aren't heated, the baths are much loved by locals and tourists. An idyllic spot anytime of day, you can enjoy a great day in the hot Australian sun, or perhaps enjoy the chance to watch on as the sky turns beautiful shades of pink as the sun begins to set. Whatever you do, don't give these Ocean Baths a miss!
