Explore the Hawkesbury River from behind the wheel of your own jet car on a 30 minute guided ride for two, with no licence or experience needed. You will meet your guide at the old Brooklyn railway bridge for a full safety briefing, then cruise beneath the railway and freeway bridges before opening up the throttle.
From there the route weaves past Peat Island and Milson Island, curves around Bar Island and runs up to Spencer, with towering sandstone cliffs rising on either side of the water. Keep an eye out for the river's resident birdlife along the way, including pelicans, herons, ibises, spoonbills, ducks and river hens. Your guide leads the group the whole way, mixing open straights with plenty of twists and turns, so it suits confident speed lovers and complete first timers alike. Two people can share one jet car, and the marina sits about an hour's drive from Sydney city, so it is an easy escape from town.
