Immerse yourself in the magic of the wondrous Daintree Rainforest, on a ziplines adventure with Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours! Soar through the trees on flying fox ziplines, enjoy spectacular panoramic views through the canopy, over the treetops and out to the Great Barrier Reef. The tour starts with a 350m walk through the forest leading to the open air “Departure Lounge” and the world’s first Human Hamster Wheel interactive cable lift. You’ll take it in turns to hop in the wheel (optional) to hoist your fellow jungle surfers up to the first platform.
The expert guides accompany you every step of the way controlling all equipment and flight, so there's no experience or tuition necessary. During the tour, you’ll visit five platforms ranging in height from 7 to 16m above the ground, and the cable spans range from 37 to 95m in length. On each platform, a guide will greet you, connect you safely to the tree and throughout your journey, share the fascinating story of the Daintree Rainforest. All spans are travelled in pairs except for one solo flight across a rainforest creek - upside down if you dare! The final span to the ground features side-by-side racing ziplines with speeds around 45km/h! Or there’s an option to take it slow!
The two-hour tour departs from Cape Tribulation up to twelve times a day with over an hour spent up in the trees. As there is only a maximum of 13 participants in each group, you get a real personal touch and plenty of time to enjoy the stunning reef and rainforest views! The harnesses are small enough to fit most 3-year-olds, so everyone from 3 to 103 can enjoy the tour.
