What you can expect

Step into Australia’s Red Centre with an afternoon adventure through Alice Springs, full of desert landscapes and rich outback heritage. This guided tour takes you through some of the town’s most iconic attractions, starting with the School of the Air, where you’ll discover how children in remote communities receive their school lessons. From there, visit the historic Telegraph Station, the birthplace of Alice Springs, and uncover the stories of early settlers who helped connect Australia to the world. You’ll also stop at the Royal Flying Doctor Service to see how they provide life-saving medical care to people living in the most isolated corners of the outback.

The journey continues with a visit to the Alice Springs Reptile Centre, where you’ll meet the desert’s most fascinating animals up close, before finishing the afternoon at Anzac Hill, a lookout offering fantastic views over the town and the MacDonnell Ranges. Throughout the tour, you’ll travel in comfort aboard an air-conditioned coach, with hotel transfers included for a hassle-free experience. This tour is the perfect way to discover the spirit of the outback in just one unforgettable afternoon.
