Adelaide Ocean Safari
Could there be anything better than hitting the open waters with the wind in your hair and the ocean spray hitting your face? Throw in a pod of dolphins and this Adelaide Ocean Safari is the number one thing to do with the kids these school holidays.
The adventure cruise is safe and fun for all ages and is guaranteed to be the best 75 minutes of the school break. Departing from Marina Pier Holdfast Shores, the Adelaide Ocean Safari showcases South Australia’s spectacular coastline and waters that are rich with wildlife. While dolphin sightings are virtually guaranteed, keep your eyes peeled for sea lions and sea birds that often join the safari tours. Book online to join the Adelaide cruise at 8.30 am or 3 pm.

MEGA Adventure Park Sky Challenge - Gold Package
If your kids are full of beans and are not the indoor type then a ticket to the MEGA Adventure Park is the perfect activity these school holidays. The multi-level SkyMate obstacle course has several different activities to try and the Gold Package gives participants an all-access pass to each area.
The MegaClimb features over 70 obstacles including a rowing boat, BMX bike and a picnic table in the sky. Fearless kids can also take the MegaJump to leap 18m above the ground or take a turn on the Giant Swing.
For parents watching on, the SkyWalk offers a great vantage point of Adelaide and is designed in the centre of the SkyMate structure so you can watch on and shout words of encouragement while the kids tackle the aerial obstacle courses.

Adelaide Kayaking Tour
Spring is turning up the heat and an Adelaide Kayaking Tour is the perfect way to soak up the sunshine and see a different side to the city. It’s also a cheeky way to sneak in a bit of exercise and education while having fun together as a family.
The guided kayaking tour takes off from Garden Island through the Port River and local mangroves. Participants will visit shipwrecks, tranquil creeks and see playful dolphins darting in and out of the waters throughout the 3 hour kayak tour.

Zoos & Wildlife Parks
We couldn’t overlook the many varied zoos and safari parks across Adelaide including Monarto Safari Park, Cleland Wildlife Park and Adelaide Zoo.
Adelaide Zoo is the only place in Australia where you can see giant pandas while Monarto Safari Park offers a taste of Africa without the need for a passport. If you have small children then Cleland Wildlife Park in the Mount Lofty Ranges is our pick of the bunch with most of the animals free to roam allowing for a more hands-on experience.
