What you can expect

With a vast range of different displays and exhibits, the Art Gallery of Western Australia offers a fantastic day out all for a very low cost – no cost in fact! Founded in 1895, the gallery includes one of the world’s most impressive Indigenous art collections, as well as pieces from both national and international artists. With a number of great permanent exhibits and a large range of ever-changing temporary ones, no two visits to the gallery will be the same. Situated in the Perth Cultural Centre, the gallery is easily accessible by car, foot or bus. Just a short walk from the city, and an even shorter drive, the gallery is conveniently located making visiting the Art Gallery of Western Australia an even bigger must do! The gallery opens every Wednesday through to Monday from 10am until 5pm. For anyone visiting Perth, wishing for an interesting cultural and historical experience, the Art Gallery of Western Australia can’t be missed!
