What you can expect

Located on the south coast of Kangaroo Island, Vivonne Bay has a great variety of activities for everyone. Voted one of Australia’s top beaches by the University of Sydney, Vivonne Bay is great for picnics, sunbathing, fishing, surfing and more. The beach at Vivonne Bay is a popular fishing spot with its large cray fish and the long sandy beach is the perfect spot for people to set themselves up for the day. If you’re visiting Vivonne Bay, the Seal Bay Conservation Park to the east is a must-see as well. The park is located along the coast of Kangaroo Island and is home to the third largest sea lion colony in Australia. Little Sahara is also close by - a small desert with sand dunes perfect for hacking, quad biking and sand boarding. Vivienne Bay really has something for everyone and a visit to Kangaroo Island’s main town will not disappoint.
