What you can expect

Selling a range of authentic products, Aboriginal Bush Traders is a not for profit business working to support local Indigenous community members. Focusing on Aboriginal culture, art, and experiences ABT sells everything from canvases, carvings, and prints to homewares, weavings, clothing and skin care products. Established 2015 by the Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation, this is the perfect place to source unique and authentic products gathered from around the state. Housed in the city's Lyon's Cottage, the first stone residence in the city, Aboriginal Bush Traders boasts a blend of Indigenous and European history as the cottage is one of the few historic buildings in the city that survived the bombings in World War 2 and the natural catastrophe that was Cyclone Tracey. The shop also features a popular cafe serving up a delicious selection of dishes modernly twisted from traditional bush tucker meals. Choose from a selection of cakes, teas, dampers, jams, sandwiches, salads, and more, for the perfect break from a beautiful day in Darwin.
