Bulcock Beach Caloundra

Among the multiple beaches of Caloundra, Bulcock Beach serves as the major "hub" for beach activity due to both its location and its mixture of cleanliness and proximity to a host of conveniences just across the road. The beach features lovely, soft sand that is kept immaculately clean, and offers calm waters that are typically cool and pleasant for wading and swimming - although surfers will want to look elsewhere. The beach is patrolled between the months of September and May, and when coupled with its excellent Happy Valley grassed area makes for a great choice for families looking for a combined day out in Caloundra. Bulcock Beach has rockpools for the kids to play in on the shoreline, while its clear waters are not only pretty to look at but even offer the chance to spot dolphins at dusk as the tide comes in, and make for a lovely compliment to the views out to Bribie Island in the distance. The well-maintained walking track along the boardwalk makes it highly accessible from other parts of town, while also granting the ability to drop in a line and fish along the water's edge. Amenity-wise the beach doesn't disappoint, either, with plenty of charming little cafes and shops such as bakeries, ice creameries and various others all a short walk away, and a handful of public barbecues and picnic tables for those looking to cook themselves. In all, the beach is a wonderful spot both for swimming, or simply grabbing an icecream and relaxing in a wonderful environment.
