Over looking the Investigator Strait on the edge of the cliffs sits Cape Borda Lighthouse - a square lighthouse popular for its unconventional shape and maritime history. Visitors to the lighthouse can take a tour of the station to learn about its interesting history and get a close up view of one of its main features, a restored signal cannon.

The light station is a great tourist attraction with its historical museum and kiosk open to the public and selling a range of souvenirs. While in the area you can follow one of the walking trails around the national park for picturesque views of the ocean and surrounding areas. There is also a self-guided nature drive along Shackle Road from the lighthstatioq to explore the rugged western coast of the island.

  • Friday to Tuesdays; 11am, 12:30pm and 2pm
