Get ready for an extraordinary winter adventure with the French masters of flame, Compagnie Carabosse. For three weeks in July, the Adelaide Botanic Gardens will be transformed into an enchanting wonderland, full of thousands of handcrafted firepots, kinetic sculptures and candlelit pathways accompanied by live music.

This magical event promises a feast for the senses, filled with fiery delights and elemental wonders. Wander through the illuminated garden, marvelling at the mesmerising firelight and the transformed natural surroundings. The Fire Gardens in Adelaide offer a unique and unforgettable experience for all ages. Come and blaze your own trail in this dazzling display of light and warmth.

  • Open from Thursday 4th of July to Sunday 21st July 2024 (Closed Mondays to Wednesdays)
  • Open from Thursdays to Sundays from 5:45 pm
  • Sessions available every 30 minutes
Duration
  • This is a self-guided event through a curated immersive space - please allow 60 minutes to enjoy the full Fire Gardens experience at your leisure.
  • The Fire Gardens flames will be extinguished at approximately 9:15pm so be sure to arrive promptly for later sessions.

  • This event takes place at Adelaide Botanic Gardens, SA
  • Entry and exit are from Main Gate via the North Terrace and East Terrace intersection
Additional Information
  • Please be advised this event includes fire, smoke, dark pathways, and uneven terrain.
  • This event will go ahead rain or shine. We recommend wearing adequate clothing and footwear suited to the time of year and weather conditions on the night. There is no cloakroom for this event.
  • Adelaide Botanic Garden is easy to navigate via wheelchair, with paved and bitumen paths accessible throughout most of the site. The event area will include paving, grass, compact dirt, and sloped and uneven surfaces.
  • While some areas of the site are not wheelchair accessible, the installations can be easily viewed from the paved paths and Front of House staff will be stationed along these routes to assist patrons requiring directions or assistance.
  • Accessible toilets are available within the event area.
  • Fire Gardens is a high visual content event featuring some live performances and ambient music, with no dialogue.
  • Assistance dogs are welcome in Adelaide Botanic Garden.
  • Please note that animals, chairs, eskies, BYO alcohol, DSLR cameras, video equipment, tripods, and drones are prohibited.
Cancellation Policy
  • Tickets are not refundable and can not be cancelled once purchased
Booking Information
  • Please only arrive at the Main Gate off North Terrace at your allocated session time for admission. Early or late admissions will not be possible.
  • It is a condition of entry that children 12 years and under can only be admitted if accompanied and supervised by their parents/guardians at all times, which will necessarily be enforced by the Front of House team throughout the event site.
  • Fire Gardens is located at Adelaide Botanic Garden - entry and exit is from Main Gate via North Terrace and East Terrace intersection.
