WANAKA EXPERIENCE THREE RUNS

Heli-skiing is the pinnacle of all ski experiences, and this introductory three-run experience at Wanaka will provide you with a great introduction to the artistry of this extreme (and extremely adrenaline-pumping) winter sport. You'll join us in an area of stunning ski conditions surrounded by fresh now and unbelievable terrain, where your guide will lead you to an area for a run that is best suited to your ability level to provide both the maximum level of safety as well as an unforgettable New Zealand ski experience!

Included in this tour, as in all our heli-tour options are being accompanied by a fully-qualified guide, a gourmet buffet lunch, and transfers both to and from your accommodation as well as pickup and drop off of all your rental equipment.

What to bring

You will need to bring your ski/board or hire equipment
You will need to have warm clothing – a windproof jacket and pants, warm gloves, sunglasses or goggles and sunscreen.
Bring a camera to capture ski day

Transfers

Transfers from your Wanaka or Queenstown accommodation to our airport helipad or staging area can be arranged.

Terms and Conditions

Run length varies depending on the terrain and snow conditions. Our exclusive terrain offers runs that vary between 2000 and 2500 vertical feet of treeless skiing in sheltered basins, bowls and wide rolling mountain flanks through to steep and gnarly chutes.

Heli-skiing / boarding takes place in an alpine environment, above the tree line and is weather dependent. When booking, we suggest you register with us for daily heli-skiing as soon as you arrive in the area and allow some flexibility in your schedule. Snow in the backcountry can vary from fine powder to crud to beautiful spring corn. Check with us for the latest conditions.
