Trip Times

8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 & 4:30.

Fewer departures available from May to September for the 8.30 and 4.30 trips.

Check in 15 mins prior to trip time at the Shotover Canyon Swing Booking Office on Shotover Street.

How long should we allow?

2.5 hours round trip although this can depend on numbers and also how many jumps.

15 minute transfer to jump site.

What to Bring

• You are more than welcome to bring your camera or go pro and jump with no additional charge.
• Closed toe footwear is required.
• Please dress for the weather conditions at the time of season you are jumping.

Jump Styles

Flips

Fancy showing off your athletic prowess? You've got three options: forwards, backwards or gainers. Tumble your way through freefall before swinging out down in the canyon below. Try to beat the record: 10 forwards flis by flipping Philip!

The Chair

You've been told that rocking back on your chair is bad, well in swing world it's GREAT. We'll sit you in our chair then position you backwards on the edge. It's up to you to play with gravity, slowly pass through the point of no return and enjoy. Seatbelt provided.

The Tandem Chair

We're delighted to bring you the latest addition to our jumpstyle collection - The Tandem Chair! The World Famous 'Chair' is now double the fun as you can now do it tandem!

The Cutaway

Our easiest launch by far. We will suspend you out over the canyon in a sitting position which you will remain in for the whole of your swing. If you're tough enough you can release yourself or leave it to us. You can just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Backwards

Standing with your heels over the edge of the platform. Hands behind your head and slowly fall back into the canyon below. The view of the platform rocketing away from you is truly freaky. Great option for experienced jumpers.

Gimp Boy Goes to Hollywood

We'll suspend you upside down over the canyon, staring directly at the canyon floor, arching your back and reaching for the river below. Keep your eyes open and wait to be released, you'll swoop down towards the river - eyeballs first.

Forwards

Standing on the edge looking down if you dare, then step, jump, fall, dive or leap any which way to begin your spectacular descent. You're free to scream, flap your arms and kick your legs as you accelerate into the canyon. Jumping off yourself is an amazing achievement.

If cancelling, a refund will only be granted when Shotover Canyon Swing receives a notification a least 6 working hours prior to departure.
