Sea World Whale Watch is located on Australia’s Gold Coast and offers premium whale watching tours with our expert marine tour guides aboard the world’s most advanced whale watching vessel Spirit of Migloo. Built new in 2008 at a cost of $3.5M, Spirit of Migloo is a spacious, air-conditioned, state of the art, 24 metre luxury catamaran designed specifically for environmentally friendly whale watching. Ultra- quiet, low emission engines, toilet waste holding tanks and whale-friendly keel ensures the whales are not disturbed.
Three levels of open viewing decks provide an incredible whale watching platform and passenger numbers are restricted on every tour to ensure your experience with the whales remains a relaxed and personal one. Our on-board real-time tour is also first for Australia. Using amazing 3D animation technology on three 50” big screens, the world of the whales will be revealed to you as never before. Sea World Whale Watch tours have a 100% whale sighting record and provide a full refund to guests if their tour does not see a whale.
Sea World is only 20 minutes from the whales. Entry to Sea World is not required to go on a Sea World Whale Watch tour. Tours leave from the Sea World cruise terminal in the car park outside Sea World. There is plenty of free parking.
