Australian Muster Experience
The Australian Muster Experience, outside Cairns and approximately 35 minutes drive South from Port Douglas, combines the stunning backdrop of the Daintree rainforest with the atmosphere of Australia's wild outback to produce a truly unique and memorable day. Simulating an authentic working cattle station and combining whip-cracking humour, bulls and bulldust, you will witness real stockmen and women riding stunt horses with dogs, quad bikes and a bull catcher. Once you've worked up a hunger, dine on a delicious barbecue lunch while absorbing the live music and traditional bush tales.
Night shows that are available also include a free mechanical bull ride to test your mustering skills and is capped off with a toe-tapping show by the Australian Muster Experience's dedicated band. Before leaving, don't forget to drop into the outback souvenir store and buy yourself a keepsake such as a corrugated iron beer cooler or muster-themed T-shirt!
