Inclusions

A thrilling 30 minute underwater guided tour bringing you face-to-face with Grey Nurse Sharks, Sandbar Whaler Sharks, Seven Kill Sharks, Giant Stingrays and hundreds of exotic fish. All equipment provided (unless stated otherwise). Includes a brief dive course for non-divers.

Opening Times

There are three dive times per day 4.00pm, 4.30pm and 5.00pm (weekends, public holidays and school holidays) 3.30pm, 4.00pm and 4.30pm (weekdays).

Non-divers come to our dive school in Prahran at 11am and take part in a one-hour theory session then head to the local pool for a practice dive. We will then meet in the afternoon at the Melbourne Aquarium where all dives are of a 30-minute duration. All divers must arrive at the Aquarium 1 hour prior to the first dive of the day.

What to Bring

  • Towel
  • Swimwear All other equipment will be supplied.

Divers

  • Divers supplying their own scuba gear must be aware that full body coverage is essential. This means hoods and gloves are necessary.
  • Certification cards - no car, no dive!
  • Log book as proof of last dive within the last 12 months

Additional Information

  • All divers must be over the age of 15 years
  • People under the age of 15 are able to participate if they hold junior open water (min. age 12) certification.
  • Some medical restrictions apply.

Terms & Conditions

  • All dive experiences are non-refundable, however they may be transferred.
  • A medical questionnaire must be completed and returned no later than 14 days prior to the dive.

Location

Melbourne Aquarium is located on the corner of Flinders Street & King Street Melbourne. It is situated on the Yarra River, opposite Crown Entertainment Complex.
