All you need to do is choose your preferred tandem skydiving height; 9,000ft (25 seconds of freefall), 11,000ft (40 seconds of freefall) or the most popular 14,000ft with 60 seconds of freefalling! Location

Located at Hanger 1, Tyagarah Airfield, Byron Bay. The ONLY place to skydive in Byron Bay!

Venue Facilities

Our facilities include a viewing deck, BBQ area, cinema, pool table and games room, free internet and plenty of skydiving action to keep everyone entertained.

What to wear

Comfortable casual clothes, shorts in summer and jeans or tracksuit pants in winter. We will provide you with a pair of skydiving pants to wear over your clothes and a Skydive Byron Bay t-shirt. You may also want to bring a long sleeve t-shirt or sweatshirt. Closed in shoes are a must, sneakers or runners that lace up firmly are preferable (no hooks). Most importantly don’t forget to wear a big smile!

Times

The time you are booked in is your arrival time. When you arrive you need to complete some paperwork and then you are assigned to a load. We do our best to keep the day running smoothly but sometimes we are held up due to unforeseen circumstances. These include weather holds, there are certain wind and cloud conditions that we are unable to skydive in. Air Traffic Control also have a say in when and where we can fly, sometimes we can be put on hold for up to 15 minutes, if this happens a couple of times in one day we can run behind. Safety is of the utmost importance to us and if we have to wait on the ground for half an hour to ensure your safety, then we will.

Important Information

You need to be a generally healthy human being with an average fitness level. 100kg - 110kg need to be assessed on the day by our drop zone safety office.

The minimum age for tandem skydiving in Australia is 14 years of age and solo skydiving is 16 years of age. Any person wishing to partake in skydiving who is under 18 years of age needs their parent or guardian permission.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 48 hours of your booking time will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
