What you can expect

Book this 2 day / 1 night adventure to the world heritage listed Fraser Island and discover the island's rainforest, fresh water lakes, coloured sands and wildlife PLUS an overnight stay at beachfront accomodation! Join this fully guided small group 4WD tour from Brisbane, Sunshine Coast or Rainbow Beach and enjoy a scenic tour of the Cooloola National Park to see the Coloured Sands at Rainbow Beach before travelling on the vehicle ferry to Fraser Island. Once on the island, the 4WD adventure begin with a scenic drive along 75 Mile beach to see some of the island's highlights including: Lake McKenzie, Lake Wabby, Maheno Shipwreck, Eli Creek, Lake Boomanjin and more. Overnight quad share accomodation is included at Eurong Beach Resort plus dinner, breakfast and a lunch.

Please Note: National park and ferry fees of $30 per person per day are not included and are payable direct to the tour driver. The 2 Day Fraser Island tour departs on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Spaces are limited on this small group tour. Book online today to reserve your spot!

Itinerary
  • __Day one__
  • Travel north from your pickup location toward Double Island Point. Take the opportunity to photo Point Lighthouse and the coloured sand cliffs of Rainbow Beach, where you will break at Rainbow Beach to enjoy your freshly made picnic lunch
  • Depart Rainbow beach and 4WD along tracks to Inskip Point beach and Fraser Island lookout, before boarding the ferry cruise to Fraser Island
  • 4WD Fraser Island 's 75 Mile eastern Surf Beach to Eli Creek and visit the Maheno Shipwreck
  • Vist Fraser Islands deepest Lake Lake Wabby in the late afternoon and enjoy the famous sand dunes
  • Travel to through the Melaleuca and cycad forest before arriving at the Fraser Island beach resort, only 50 metre from the Fraser island Surf beach
  • Afternoon Beach Walk on sunset, before resort buffet dinner at the restaurant
  • Spend the evening walking along 75 mile beach, stargaze, relax Fraser Island Style __Day Two__
  • Have the option of an early rise to see the sunrise over the Ocean, enjoy a walk or hike before breakfast or sleep in and wake slowly to the calls of the forest
  • Spend the morning the surrounding areas, enjoy a lake swim, a hike or photograph the beaches and wildlife
  • Take an optional hike through the rainforest along the boardwalk from Central Station to see the rare giant King Fern, the world heritage Satinay Forest and crystal clear waters of Wanggoolba Creek meandering between Picabeen Palms and Central Station before returning to the mainlands and to your drop off location
  • Meals included on day two is breakfast at Eurong Beach Resort

  • A Gold Coast transfer is available directly with the supplier, the transfer can be arranged once booking is confirmed for an additional rate from $100 per person

  • Gold coast transfer departs from Transit Centre at 6am Beach Road Surfers Paradise and will return the next day at approximately 9pm
