
Getting to Darwin

As Darwin is fair isolated from other Australian big cities, flying to Darwin is the best way to get there. There are also multiple other methods available for travelling to Darwin depending on which suits you best.
Flying
Darwin International Airport has direct flights to most Australian capital cities and is situated 13km North-East of the city centre. There are also direct international flights to and from Bali, Singapore and other locations.

Airport Transfers and Car Hire
A variety of options are available to choose from when travelling to and from Darwin Airport. Gray Line Tours operate a transfer shuttle service that goes from the airport into the city or directly to your accommodation. Car rental is also a popular transportation method for getting around Darwin due to the extra flexibility it grants.
Bus
Darwin can be reached by one of three main routes - the Queensland route through Three Ways to Mt Isa; the Western Australia route from Broome and Kununurra; or directly down the Stuart Highway from Alice Springs. GreyHound Australia operates services daily on all of these routes.
