Cairns Wildlife Safari Reserve (or Park) is a large zoological park outside Kuranda, QLD. With a collection of both exotic and native animals, and is an institutional part of a trip to the area for holidaymakers. See the animals up-close and make sure to attend their feeding times, which start at 9:30am and go on throughout the day, with a different animal every half hour! All animals are taken good care of, with enclosures clean, tidy and well-presented.

Have breakfast with the lions, touch a rhino and be surprised at their texture, play with a tiger cub and hold green iguana - the range of animal-related activities is nearly endless and extends from park open to close. You will find the animals are very happy in their natural environments, not being restricted to pacing restlessly around small cages, and there are multiple opportunities to get your photo taken alongside any number of the magnificent creatures that reside here.
