Q1 Skypoint Observation Deck - Gold Coast

Located on top of the Q1, which upon completion several years ago became the tallest residential building in the entire Southern hemisphere, the Skypoint Observation Deck offers one of the most breathtaking views of any vantage point in the country. With views that stretch along the entire 100km+ length of the Gold Coast and beyond, taking the ultra-speedy elevator from the ground flood to the 77th and 78th floors on which the Skypoint is located will provide you with a 360 degree spectacle that stretches from Byron Bay in the South to Brisbane in the North and the vast Gold Coast Hinterland in the West - with the East gazing out over the picturesque blue oceans of the Gold Coast region. Oceanworld Manly - Sydney

One of Australia's best aquariums, Oceanworld is one of the premier attractions for sightseers and tourists in Sydney and offers fun for families with kids of all ages. Featuring a range of different sized tanks including sharks, giant stingrays, sea turtles and teeming with fish of all kinds, OceanWorld also allows guests to take part in their "Shark Dive Xtreme" attraction, where visitors who have a touch of the daring in them can take the opportunity to swim with sharks! OceanWorld is also home to the world's longest aquarium tunnel, a 110m in length. Jenolan Caves - New South Wales

While not technically "in" Sydney, the Jenolan Caves are still one of the most popular attractions for those who visit the city, drawing people's interest due to the sheer size of the spectacular ancient system and network of caves, underground rivers and other amazing formations of rock and stone. Long regarded as the finest cave system in Australia, there are 11 specifically impressive "show caves" in this network located within the Blue Mountains (approximately 175km West of Sydney's city centre.) Consisting mainly of limestone, the Jenolan Caves are the oldest discovered open caves in the world and include numerous ancient fossils of great interest while calcite formations of both stalagmites and stalactites - which sometimes approach a beautiful, pearly-white colour - and are wondrous to behold. The cave network is enormous, with over 40km of multi-level passages that are still undergoing exploration. Several kilometres of the caves have now been made easily accessible to customers and are well lit, making this one of the most unique and magical geographic attractions in Australia.

The Australian Outback Spectacular - Gold Coast

A show that has gained huge popularity over the past several years, the Australian Outback Spectacular on Queensland's Gold Coast is a dramatic outback theatre-style experience delivered in a large amphitheatre that allows guests to experience the heart, soul and true Aussie outback spirit! Created as a dedication to the Australian Light Horse Brigade that performed valiantly in World War I, the show is filled with outback music, drama and action as skilled horse riders and stock men (and women) delight the crowd with feats of horse handling and stunts while surrounded by an engrossing narrative that is not only highly entertaining but educational as well. Skyrail Rainforest Cableway - Cairns

Providing one of the best views of the tropical natural environment in the country, Cairns' Skyrail Rainforest Cableway allows you to ascend over the canopy of the lush rain forests in a safe, windowed sky gondola and truly appreciate the splendour of this World Heritage listed collection of trees and wildlife. Taking you on an eco-journey that few places in the world can come close to equalling, riding is a unique experience as you venture over, within and under the rooftop of the tropical forest allowing you to smell, see and hear the essence of the diverse environment that exists within the various levels of this spectacular habitat. Lasting for a distance of 7.5kms extending from the base station, you ascend to the Red Peak mountain station deep within the forest, and disembark and stroll along the 175 metre boardwalk while listening to the guide's commentary. Kangaroo Island - South Australia

One of the most opportune places to view animals outside of a zoo in Australia is iconic Kangaroo Island, home to native creatures such as the wallaby, goanna, koala, kangaroo and echidna as well as other marine wildlife such as New Zealand's fur seals and sea birds. With most of the island being labeled Wilderness Protection Areas, and its isolation from the Australian mainland removing predators and pests such as foxes and rabbits, the Island remains a prime example of untouched natural beauty that has allowed this array of wildlife to breed and develop unhindered over many generations, producing habitats that are a safe haven for multiple species, including the unique and incredibly cute Kangaroo Island Dunnart.
