Additional Information

Drivers must hold a current manual drivers licence for min 12 months and be wearing enclosed shoes. Due to safety reasons, drivers must be under 6'4" and must weigh no more than 110kg. If under 18 years a parent or guardian must be present to sign the indemnity form.

How to get there

Located approximately 30 minutes from Surfers Paradise and 40 minutes from Brisbanethe V8 Superschool is nestled in the picturesque cane fields at Norwell, 10 minutes North of Dreamworld.

If you are coming from Brisbane take Exit 45 and turn left onto Eggersdorf Road and then follow the signs.

If you are coming from the Gold Coast take Exit 45 and continue through the first round-about. Turn right at the second round-about and head back over the highway onto Eggersdorf Road and then follow the signs.

Holden, The Driving Centre and the V8 SuperSchool reserve the right to postpone at minimal notice, any bookings due to inclement weather. Please be sure to reconfirm your booking at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled day.

V8 SUPERSCHOOL DRIVES (as a driver):

• BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL for this and all activities as spaces are limited.
• Price is per person.
• Drivers must hold a current drivers licence (provisional licence and International licences accepted) and be able to drive a manual car. Licence’s in a language other than English, must be accompanied by an English translation.
• Race suit and helmet provided for the experience.
• Drivers must be wearing closed-in shoes for safety regulations.
• Height and weight restrictions apply - Drivers must be under approximately 6 feet 4 inches and must weigh no more than approximately 110kg due to safety issues.
• Drivers must have a zero blood alcohol level and not be under the influence of any substances i.e. illegal substances / drugs.
• Drivers must sign a HTDC indemnity form before riding in the vehicles, if under the age of 18 years a guardian or parent must be present to sign the indemnity form.
• Not suitable for pregnant women or anyone with certain medical conditions. It is the participant’s responsibility to check with their medical practitioner as to whether the medical condition affects your ability to undertake this experience.
• Gift vouchers are subject to booking availability and all other relevant terms and conditions.

3 LAP SHAKE DOWN

• Includes Certificate on Completion.

6 LAP TEST DRIVE

• Includes Certificate on Completion.
• Lap timing or Drivers Briefing not included.
• You must nominate your vehicle of choice (Holden/Ford) at the time of booking.

12 LAP V8 ROOKIE PROGRAM

• Includes Certificate on Completion.
• Participants drive a total of 12 Laps (3 x 4 lap sessions – last session timed).
• Fastest Lap timing & Drivers Briefing included.
• You must nominate your vehicle of choice (Holden/Ford) at the time of booking.
