Surfers Paradise Ghost Tour – A First Hand Review
It was a dark and stormy night… well, dark and drizzling anyway! This aspect only added to the creepy atmosphere for the Friday 13th launch of the Surfers Paradise Ghost Tour! Turning up with a feeling of trepidation, not knowing what to expect, I approach an appropriately dressed Ghost Guide at the Cavill Avenue Information Centre – ready to embark on the all-new Surfers Paradise Ghost Tour!
After introductions, the lantern-wielding Ghost Guide led us like the pied piper through the eerie arcades and back alleys of Surfers Paradise. The enthralled group was hanging on every word as we re-lived various historical murders, “accidental” deaths and horrifying tales of cannibalism and betrayal. We were lured by lantern light to discover Surfers Paradise’s most haunted locations hearing stories of local entities known to frequent the areas in which they came to grief…..
