Itinerary

Emu Run collect you from outside your Alice Springs accommodation at 7.45am.

Spectacular Outback Scenery and photo opportunities as we travel along the magnificent West MacDonnell Ranges, stopping at historic sites, enjoy beautiful walks at Simpsons Gap, Standley Chasm (for morning tea), the Ochre Pits, and Ormiston Gorge for lunch and walk or swim. Next stop is Glen Helen, then on our way back we visit Ellery Creek Bighole (for afternoon tea). Ellery Creek Bighole is one of Central Australia's most pristine waterholes, so don't forget your swimmers in the warmer months!

You will see these Mighty Ranges "light up" in brilliant oranges and reds on the return trip to Alice Springs at Sunset.

Departure Location

Tour departs from your accommodation at 7.45am and returns at 5.45pm.

What To Bring

Dress in the Northern Territory is casual and comfortable. Winter nights (May to August) can be cold, so bring warm clothing. Days are sunny and warm. Remember to bring strong, non-slip walking shoes, hats, sunglasses, camera, water bottle & sunscreen.

We can’t guarantee pick up or drop off times and are not liable for passenger failure to connect with other services.
