Getting around Adelaide is relatively easy as there are quite a few options to suit a variety of budgets.
Public transport
If you are travelling on a strict budget you will be glad to know that the Adelaide city centre has free public transport. You can catch a free ride on the Adelaide Connector Free Bus service, which operates 7 days a week except for public holidays. Environmental buffs will be thrilled with Tindo- the world's first solar powered bus. This air-conditioned bus is carbon neutral and seats 42 passengers.

The Adelaide Tram is another great way to travel around the city. The tram is free between South Terrace and City West but if you are going any further then you will need to buy a ticket.
